Your privacy matters to Interview68. These Personal Data Protection Terms explain how we collect, process, store, share, and protect personal data when you use our AI interview, CV analysis, practice planning, payment, and support services.
By creating an account, uploading a CV, joining an interview, using voice/coding features, or continuing to use Interview68 after being notified of these terms, you agree to the processing activities described below. If you do not agree, please stop using the affected services.
We may update these terms for legal, security, product, or operational reasons. Material updates will be communicated through appropriate channels before or when they take effect.
1. Personal data we collect
We may collect data you provide directly, data generated when you use Interview68, and technical data collected automatically by our systems.

- check_circleCareer and interview data: CV files and extracted CV text, job targets, application history, interview answers, chat transcripts, code snippets, scores, feedback, and practice history.
- check_circleVoice and media data: voice input, generated or transcribed speech, and related metadata when you use voice interview features.
- check_circleUsage and device data: IP address, browser, device type, pages visited, timestamps, cookies, logs, feature usage, and security events.
- check_circlePayment data: transaction references and checkout status. Card or banking credentials are processed by payment partners, not stored by Interview68 unless expressly stated.
2. Purposes of processing

- check_circleProvide AI interviews, live coding, CV analysis, feedback, scoring, dashboards, notifications, and support.
- check_circleMatch your CV and practice needs with relevant mock jobs, preparation guidance, and learning recommendations.
- check_circleOperate subscriptions, payments, quota limits, promotions, customer support, and administrative workflows.
- check_circleImprove, monitor, debug, and develop Interview68 services, including analytics, reliability, safety, and product research.
- check_circleComply with applicable law, enforce terms, resolve disputes, and respond to lawful requests from competent authorities.
3. Consent, mandatory data, and refusal
Some data is necessary to provide a requested service. For example, we need your account data to sign you in, CV data to run CV analysis, and interview transcripts to generate feedback. If you refuse or withdraw consent for mandatory processing, we may be unable to provide the related service.
Where processing is optional, such as certain marketing messages or optional profile fields, you may decline or withdraw consent without losing access to core services.
4. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of processing of, or withdrawal of consent for your personal data. You may also object to certain processing activities and request information about how your data is processed.

5. Data sharing and third parties
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data only where necessary for the services, where you direct us to do so, or where required by law.

- check_circleEmployers or third parties only when a feature clearly asks you to share application or profile data with them.
6. Storage and retention
We retain personal data for as long as needed for the purposes described in these terms, including account operation, service delivery, backup, audit, dispute resolution, legal compliance, and security. Retention periods may differ by data type and legal requirement.
After account closure or deletion requests, some data may remain in backups, audit logs, transaction records, or legally required archives for a reasonable period before deletion or anonymization.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or misuse of personal data. These safeguards may include access controls, encryption in transit where applicable, monitoring, logging, backup, and operational security procedures.
No internet service can guarantee absolute security. If we identify a personal data incident, we will assess the impact, take remediation steps, notify affected users and competent authorities where required, and provide practical risk-reduction guidance.
8. Cookies and tracking
We may use cookies, local storage, logs, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure usage, improve performance, secure the service, and understand product behavior. You can adjust browser cookie settings, but some features may stop working correctly.
9. Cross-border processing
Some providers used by Interview68 may process or store data outside your country. Where cross-border transfer is needed, we take steps intended to ensure appropriate protection and contractual obligations for the receiving parties.
10. Linked services and social login
Interview68 may link to third-party sites or support third-party authentication such as Google sign-in. Those third parties process data under their own terms and privacy policies. You should review their policies before using those services.
11. Children
Interview68 is not intended for children under 16. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child under 16 without appropriate consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
